Stromer calls the automatic locking and unlocking of the bike 'Smartlock' (formerly Seamless Ride). The technology is based on Bluetooth technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smartlock is available for the models ST1 with Omni B, ST1x with Omni C and ST2 \/3 \/5 \/7 with Omni C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a revision of the function (SUI FW 4.2.1.8 from 21.10.2019) Smartlock works better, although not 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update: SUI FW 4.4.3.4 (7-02-2024)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Smartlock can now be used via the Riding Display in the Omni app.

Stromer writes in the release notes for the update:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The legacy SmartLock (locking and unlocking via standard Bluetooth) will be replaced by the new BLE version in conjunction with the Stromer OMNI app. Users who are currently still using the older version will receive a corresponding message. The Stromer OMNI app must be opened in the Omni via MENU > BLUETOOTH > OMNI APP<\/em> be reconnected. SmartLock via Bluetooth BLE only works if the Stromer OMNI app is at least running in the background. The function is not active when the app is completely closed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n

Smartlock via the Omni App (Riding Display) setting can only be used on one Stromer at a time. If you have more than one Stromer, you must therefore decide on which Stromer this should happen.

Smartlock Classic can be activated via OMNI > MENU > BLUETOOTH - SMART LOCK<\/em> can be used on several Stromer at the same time as long as it is still available.<\/p>\n\n\n
