{"id":723,"date":"2025-07-03T21:16:41","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T19:16:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.stromer-tech.info\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=723"},"modified":"2026-09-01T03:23:16","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T01:23:16","slug":"battery-reset","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/wp.stromer-tech.info\/en\/knowledge-base\/akku-reset\/","title":{"rendered":"Battery \u2013 Reset of safety position"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When resetting, one must differentiate between battery reset and reset of the SoH (State of Health) and cycle counter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A battery reset may be necessary if the battery enters a safety mode due to an unexpected external power supply error (e.g., a short circuit).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BQ batteries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the newer batteries of the <strong>BQ<\/strong>-Serie mit 48-V-Nennspannung gibt es zwei Lieferanten, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.htenergy.com.tw\/en\/product2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HTE<\/a> (TD Hitech Energy) und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simplo.com.tw\/\">SMP<\/a> (Simplo Technology Co. Ltd.). Der Akkus muss \u00fcber den H\u00e4ndler an die myStromer AG zur Kontrolle gesendet werden. Dort kann ein Reset der Sicherheitseinstellung, falls der Akku an sich normal funktioniert, durchgef\u00fchrt werden. Danach sollte dieser wieder einsatzbereit sein. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">Es empfiehlt sich, vor dem erneuten Einsetzen des Akkus in den Stromer zu pr\u00fcfen, wo das Problem in der Elektrik des Stromers lag und dieses vorg\u00e4ngig zu beheben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a caveat, I once read that a battery reset is also possible if the BMS is de-energized. Sequence: Balancer lines, positive line, then disconnect CMOS battery, then everything back in reverse order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">Im Unterschied zum Akku-Reset (Sicherheitsstellung) war ein Reset des SoH (State of Health) sowie des Ladezyklenz\u00e4hlers bis vor Kurzem nur bei den HTE-Akkus m\u00f6glich (Akkusockel mit 3 Schrauben).<br><br>Die Firma&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/buenzlibatteries.ch\/\">B\u00fcnzli Batteries<\/a>&nbsp;bietet seit Juli 2026 den Reset des SoH und des Ladezyklenz\u00e4hlers auch bei den Simplo-Akkus (Akkusockel mit 4-Schrauben) an.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.stromer-tech.info\/en\/knowledge-base\/battery-reset-soh-charge-cycle-counter\/\" data-type=\"ht_kb\" data-id=\"731\">See<\/a> AKKU - <em>'Battery reset: SoH and charge cycle counter'<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BO Batteries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the <strong>BO<\/strong>-model series, the 36 V batteries for the older Stromer models, there is a jumper JP1 on the circuit board.
