The amount of energy drawn from the battery is measured and divided by the kilometers ridden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"b91dce71-8548-417b-8537-2a5917419412\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evaluation from forums<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"c9d498ce-0ce3-4172-9208-73a1b6b98db1\">In forums and Facebook groups, screenshots of electric cars showing the Omni trip statistics are repeatedly posted. I have used the total kilometers driven and average energy values for the evaluation. This results in a picture that provides a statistical average beyond seasons and individual driving profiles. While these aren\u2019t 100 percent accurate, they do provide a rough estimate. About 85 % of the statistics come from commuting; the rest were leisurely rides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><strong>\u00d8 energy consumption: 13.6 Wh\/km<\/strong><br><br>Stromer: ST2 and ST3, usually \u201eAll-In\u201c = 100 % torque sensor and ride mode 3<br>System weight: 130 kg<br>Average speed: 31.8 km\/h<br>Elevation meters\/route: commuting distance 40 km \/ 550 m \/ rural<br>Measurement period: Aug. 2018 - Dec. 2022, summer &amp; winter<br>Distance traveled: 25,800 km<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"c2b90b70-2e5d-4d84-84da-3d42ce73d827\"><strong>To summarize: <\/strong>The energy consumption depends significantly on the riding style, pedaling cadence, route profiles, the torque sensor settings in the Omni, and ultimately on the Stromer ridden. If you ride \u201eall-in\u201c and always at the maximum speed limit, consumption can increase to around 18 Wh\/km.
