Wicket Cable - What is it?

Wicket, from English, means gate. At Stromer, these are cable distributors with Rosenberger connectors or, in older models, D-Sub 7-pin connectors, which are both installed directly at the lower end of the battery compartment. They connect the battery to the bicycle's electrical system and are thus essentially the gate from the battery to the bike.

Where is it installed?

The Wicket cable can also be a source of faults. Thermal stress on older versions with the SAE connection can lead to deformation or short circuits.
