Rims / hubs / wheel bearings - What does Stromer use?

Stromer uses different manufacturers for rims and hubs.

Older models, such as the ST1 V1, 36 V / ST1x, 6 & 12 V / ST2, 6 & 12 V, are fitted with a Formula DC71 hub with a 100 mm x 15 mm thru axle.

Many models are fitted with rims and hubs from the Taiwanese manufacturer Alex Rims to the application.

High-end models, such as the ST2S or ST5 of the time and today's ST7, feature rims and hubs from DT Swiss. On the first two models, the lettering +STROMER- can be seen on older batches with DT Swiss rims.

On the ST3 Pinion and other models delivered from around mid-2023, in addition to AlexRims, you can now also see rims from Rodi with a hub from Blackjack. Blackjack belongs to the Portuguese company RODI, based in Aveiro. Hubs from Blackjack are compatible with those from AlexRims. (Source)

On the ST1x and ST2, Stromer uses bearings that are permanently installed in the front wheel and cannot be replaced.
