Adapter from Stromer
To be able to tow a trailer with the Stromer, you need the 'Trailer Plate Kit' as a coupling. When buying a new Stromer, this can be purchased in the Stromer Bike Configurator can be selected as an optional accessory. It is also available separately with a Stromer specialist dealer.

The adapter plate can be used to attach Thule (ezHitch), Weber with electric clutch and Burley couplings mount. There is also, e.g. on the ST2, the solid shaft coupling / adapter with the dimension M10x1.

If you want to use a Croozer trailer, you can find out more about an adapter here look around.
You can also find 'own constructions' on the net: Links > 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 …
In order not to jeopardize safety, I strongly advise against using them.
Assembly
The plate is usually fitted between the left dropout and the engine flange. Installation instructions are included with each plate. Professional installation is best carried out by the dealer.
Stromer writes in the operating instructions (ST1_ST2_ST3_ST5_ST7_de_3.0):

ST2
> Assembly instructions: ST2 12V | ST2 6V | ST2 S12V | ST2 S 6V
ST3 / ST5
It is fitted as an "insertion" between the axle hole/plate in the left dropout and the motor-axle gearing.

Alternative fastenings
In addition to the adapter plate and corresponding adapters from the various brand manufacturers, there is also the option of attaching an adapter to the left-hand chain stay or the seat tube.
