The distance from the brake lever to the handlebar can be adjusted (Reach Adjust). To do this, use an Allen wrench and turn it left or right, depending on whether you want the lever to be further away or closer to the handlebar.
With Shimano brakes, the so-called ‚Free Stroke‘ (the distance traveled before the brake pads contact the rotor) can also be adjusted. TRP brakes do not offer this adjustment.
