Omni BT App - Problems with the connection

Start the process of connecting the Omni BP app to the Stromer from scratch. This is how it works with the iPhone and an ST1 / year 2021. The instructions are based on firmware 4.2.4.4 from August 13, 2020.

Do not establish a connection via the Bluetooth area of the phone. The connection is made via the app.

1. delete bike in the Omni BT app

- Open the OMNI BT app
- Tap on the name of the bike on the left. You will then be taken to the "Select Stromer" menu.
- Press and hold the name of your Stromer until the option to delete it is displayed. Press "Delete" - this will disconnect the connection to the bike.

2. establish a connection

- Switch on your Stromer
- Select the Bluetooth option in the menu
- Make sure that the Bluetooth option is activated
- Remove the old connection to your phone
- Start the Omni BT app on your phone
- Select the "Stromer" option in the app menu
- Select the "Add new Stromer" option
- Confirm the Bluetooth pairing request in the app
- Select your STROMER xy
- Then confirm SELECT CURRENT

Optional steps if points 1 & 2 do not help

a. Delete app

- Log out of the Omni BT app
- Delete the app from the phone by holding down the icon and pressing the X as soon as it wobbles.

b. Remove Stromer from the Bluetooth list

- Remove the Stromer from the list of your Bluetooth connections. (Settings > Bluetooth > press the blue ' i ' behind the entry for your Stromer and then click on "Ignore device" at the bottom)

c. Reinstall app

- Reinstall the Omni BT app from the App Store
- Log in with your Stromer account (option: I already have a Stromer account)

You will now see the screen with the image of your Stromer and the data will be exchanged.
You can adjust the various settings in the menu under "Stromer profile".


FW update?

If an update is available for your Stromer, a notification will appear in the OMNI BT app. Follow the instructions on the Omni screen to install the update. The update will be downloaded first and then installed after you have been asked again and confirmed. Please note that the Bluetooth connection will be lost during the update process.
