Normal operation Die Standortbestimmung des Stromers ist kein Live-Tracking wie bei einem Navigationssystem. Die Position wird nur alle paar Minuten ermittelt. Es wird stets die letzte Positionsbestimmung des Omni angezeigt. Die angezeigte Position in der Omni App kann daher vom effektiven Standort erheblich abweichen.
Theft mode Anders verhält sich die Positionsbestimmung bei einem Diebstahl und aktiviertem Diebstahlmodus. Hier meldet das Bike alle paar Sekunden seinen Standort an den Server, wodurch eine wesentlich genauere Ortung möglich wird. Zudem wird bei den meisten Omni-Modellen das Hinterrad blockiert, der Scheinwerfer blinkt, die Hupe ertönt und auf dem Display wird angezeigt, dass das Fahrrad gestohlen wurde. Zusätzlich wird eine Benachrichtigung an die registrierte E-Mail-Adresse sowie Mobilnummer gesendet.

The Omni itself cannot display a location. I think you mean the Omi app on your smartphone? I would uninstall the app completely and reinstall it from the Playstore. This should at least solve the update problem and the hangs in Google Maps. If the Omi app still shows the Stromer in Ticino, you need to go to the dealer. Have them take a look at it.
