Corrugated lower tube cover

On the ST2 / ST3 and ST5 models in particular, the down tube cover may be wavy and therefore not flush with the down tube. Gaps of 3-5 mm can occur. A revised version with more height and a new design for the horn opening has been available since the beginning of 2021. However, the spacers with the integrated threaded bushes may need to be adjusted as they are too long and the cover is not flush with the frame.

The central opening was closed and two transverse slots were created on the sloping side to provide better protection against the spray from the front wheel.
