The Stromer's location determination is not live tracking like a navigation system. The position is determined periodically every few minutes.
This is because the position at the current location, e.g. at home, is not accurate to within a few meters, but may well be off by a few hundred meters. The last positioning of the Omni is displayed.
Positioning is different in the event of theft. In this case, the bike reports its location to the server every few seconds so that a much more precise location can be determined. Furthermore, most models (see matrix here) the rear wheel locks, the headlight flashes, the horn sounds and the display shows that the bike has been stolen. A message is also sent to the registered e-mail address.
