Obwohl Stromer einen proprietären Ansatz bei den Komponenten seiner Bikes verwendet, kann man den „Zweirad-Tesla“ in Teilen auf- oder umrüsten. Dabei geht es nicht um das „Frisieren“ des Top Speed oder Drehmoments, wie es teilweise für die Mittelmotoren angeboten wird – das ist von Gesetzes wegen verboten!
However, a Stromer can be upgraded and supplemented with accessories. You can also make improvements:
- during operation
- for convenience
- in the protection of components
- etc.
From a legal point of view, the information provided by myStromer AG must be observed.
Stromer prohibits modifications or replacement of parts that do not comply with the CoC (Certificate of Conformity = operating permit). Which parts are affected can be found in the respective Operating instructions in the section "Replacing components on a fast pedelec" and "Maintenance/servicing".
Note CH: There is no CoC in Switzerland. Instead of these, the ticket is valid in that the Type certificate number is registered. Modifications to the Stromer that do not correspond to the original registration must be reported to the responsible motor vehicle inspection (presentation).
