The fenders on Stromers are not conspicuous regarding defects. They are made of an aluminum profile, and newer models are also partly made of PVC. However, one point of criticism is the front fender, which is quite short, probably for design reasons. This reliably directs spray water towards the down tube, drivetrain (chainring, pulley), and pants during a rainy ride. 3D specialists have noticed this drawback and offer so-called fender extensions that can be attached to the front or bottom instead of the fender end caps.
