Top speed (only) 32+ km/h!?

There can be various reasons why a Stromer does not reach the top speed of 45 km/h:

  1. Incorrect firmware configuration: The maximum speed an S-pedelec can reach depends on the legal regulations in the respective country. For example, a Stromer in Canada can reach a maximum speed of 32 km/h. Stromer controls the country identification via the firmware configuration (Service Menu → CONFIG → ENABLED or CA C1038). (See image below)

If a Stromer is moved from Canada to Europe, it must be adapted. Only a Stromer dealer can make this change.

Even a faulty firmware update can suddenly limit the Stromer to 32 km/h.

  2. You drive:
    • Unintentional with reduced step sensor (torque sensor)
    • support level 1
    • in level 2 with individual settings
See MOTOR - 'Sensors / speed levels / engine tuning'
  3. The tightening torque of the rear wheel thru axle is not correct. The TMM sensor is therefore not working correctly and the final speed cannot be reached.

  4. While everything is correctly assembled and adjusted, the Stromer is not calibrated.
