Although Stromer uses a proprietary approach for the components of its bikes, the 'two-wheeler Tesla' can be upgraded or converted in parts. This does not involve 'tweaking' the top speed or torque, as is sometimes offered for the mid-engines. This is prohibited by law!

However, a Stromer can be upgraded and supplemented with accessories. You can also make improvements:

  • during operation
  • for convenience
  • in the protection of components
  • etc.

From a legal point of view, the information provided by myStromer AG must be observed.

Stromer prohibits the modification or replacement of parts that do not comply with the CoC (Certificate of Conformity).
You can find out which parts are affected in the respective Operating instructions in the section "Replacing components on a fast pedelec" and "Maintenance/servicing".

Note CH: There is no CoC in Switzerland. Instead of these, the ticket is valid in that the Type certificate number is registered. Modifications to the Stromer that do not correspond to the original registration must be reported to the responsible motor vehicle inspection (presentation).
