E 210105 | Battery overheated

Problem

Recuperation fails in summer temperatures. When switching from recuperation to normal operation, system error E 210105 appears and the Omni freezes. After a reset (press the on/off button for 15 seconds), the Stromer starts again. The battery can then be removed. After reinsertion, the ride can be continued. Another recuperation ended with the same system error.

Cause

Stromer wrote on request that the error E 210105 is the overheating alarm of the battery. The cell temperature is too high and can damage the cells. For safety reasons, the assistance is reduced or switched off completely. The same applies to recuperation when driving downhill.

Solution

Take a break to allow the battery to cool down.
