E 210003 or E 21041A | Support canceled

Error image

Stromer goes out while driving or after a pothole and the errors E 210003 or E 21041A appear. Battery cannot be charged.

Causes

  1. Poor contact between battery and Rosenberger socket in the battery compartment, e.g. due to dirt, metal particles, water, corrosion
  2. Pothole, rough road surface
  3. Battery / Controller / Charger
  4. A loose Rosenberger battery base in the battery compartment
  5. Defective wicket cable directly behind the battery compartment base towards the controller. Plug or cable scorched.

Solutions

1.) The connection is magnetic and attracts the smallest metal particles. Clean the contacts/socket with a lint-free cloth or compressed air. Do not use contact sprays/grease or the "all-purpose weapon" WD40 Multifunction Smart Straw.

2.) ST1 & 2 sometimes had problems because the battery had too much play at the top of the battery compartment. There is a Modified flap.

3) The battery, controller and charger are usually not the problem but cannot be ruled out. You can try replacing the charger. The other power components can be replaced with the System Integration Test (SIT) or Test Runner in the service menu.
> SIT (Test Runner) - Testing components
> Battery SELF_CHECK - Recognize problems

4.) Have it checked by the dealer

5.) Have it checked by the dealer
