Problem
Warning W 210100 appears in the Omni, with the following text message:
"Battery voltage, battery voltage increased. Recovery not possible at present. Drive carefully, take reduced braking power into account".
As a result of the error, the battery can usually not be fully charged.
Cause
Battery defect (mostly cell drift)
Solution
Test the battery with the System Integration Test (SIT) – SELF_CHECK. If everything is green, the 99% battery is OK. If not, the battery must be sent to Stromer for inspection. In most cases, the battery is defective and must be replaced. An alternative is to fit the battery with new cells. However, this requires that the BMS is still working and that the necessary SoH and charge cycle reset can be carried out by the reconditioner. The topic is discussed in detail in here treated.
