Problem
The message appears in the Omni:
For safety reasons, the battery is permanently deactivated and the vehicle is no longer ready to drive.
Cause
The cause is usually a short circuit in the 48 V vehicle electrical system. Possible sources are
- Lighting Supernova m99 Pro (ST2S / ST5)
- Lighting Roxim ZE4
- the Cabling...
- The motor controller (MCU) > see below
- Distribution Board
- cabling, here specifically the wicket cable). The wicket cable connects the battery compartment to the motor controller (MCU).
Solution
Stromer writes:
With the firmware SUI FW 4.2.2.1 New protective measures were introduced on December 5, 2019, which permanently deactivate the battery in the event of a short circuit at the 48 V output. If the battery is deactivated, the following error messages will appear on the OMNI: E 210102 & E 210109 and the text: „The battery can no longer be used and must be returned to the dealer for inspection.“.
A second averaging states:
If the OMNI displays the error messages E 210102 & E 210109, it is very likely that this is caused by a faulty controller. Before the battery can be replaced, the controller must be checked for specific discolorations (burn marks) on the circuit board (ceramic capacitors)...
