E 250103 & W 270100 | Sensor voltage close to 0 V

Problem

No support. The 'voltage' value displayed in the service menu is usually close to 0 V or 2.5 to 3 V outside the sensor operating range.

Cause

  • Sensor or sensor cable defective
  • Plug connection in the right chain stay (if present) loose or faulty

Solution

All Stromer bikes from approx. 2018 have sensors with a plug connection in the right-hand chain stay. Check these. Older models have a continuous cable up to the Omni. However, the problem with this fault is usually the sensor itself. It must be replaced.
